About Lail Vineyards
Lail Vineyards is a Napa Valley wine producer, established in 1995. Robin Daniel Lail's 1995 Napa Valley Blueprint and J. Lail Vineyards continues the legacy of the Niebaum founding family and its ties to the Inglenook wine tradition. It is a luxury Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon appointment.
Robin Daniel Lail, the great-granddaughter of Gustave Niebaum, the Finnish sea captain who founded Inglenook (one of the Napa Valley's most historically consequential and architecturally remarkable wine estates) in 1879, established her own Napa Valley program in 1995 with a founding conviction that the Niebaum family's most personal Rutherford wine heritage deserved individual expression in her own luxury boutique program. Daniel Cuvée, Daniel Cuvée, named for Robin Lail's father John Daniel Jr. whose stewardship of Inglenook through the 1940s and 1950s produced some of the most critically acclaimed California wines of the mid-20th century before the estate was sold to United Vintners in 1964, is honored in the family tribute name and in the luxury Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon made here today.
