Levy & McClellan

Levy & McClellan is a Napa Valley wine producer, established in 2006. Every vintage is fermented entirely in new French oak from a six-acre, dry-farmed hillside vineyard yielding just 1-2 tons per acre. The six-acre estate vineyard, planted in 1999 near Diamond Mountain, yields just 1-2 tons of fruit per acre.

Each year's entire production ferments in new French oak barrels from Taransaud and Darnajou cooperage, hand-rolled during fermentation. Co-founder Bob Levy was longtime founding winemaker at Harlan Estate; Martha McClellan trained at Germany's Geisenheim and consults for Vineyard 7 & 8.

We have not found a published schedule for routine public tasting at Levy & McClellan. The wines are sold direct or through the trade, and any visit would be by arrangement, so contact the producer before planning one.
