About Lingua Franca
Lingua Franca brought sommelier royalty to the Eola-Amity Hills: Larry Stone, one of America's most decorated Master Sommeliers, planted his estate near Salem and launched the winery in the mid-2010s with Burgundy legend Dominique Lafon consulting and Thomas Savre in the cellar, a pedigree that produced immediately serious Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
The wines speak the Burgundian common tongue the name promises, tension, salinity, restraint, and the house's acquisition by Constellation Brands in 2022 signaled how quickly the estate reached blue-chip standing. A sommelier's palate, planted.
