About MAHA Estate
MAHA is the estate label of Cris and JoAnn Cherry of Villa Creek, the restaurateurs-turned-winemakers whose Villa Creek Cellars helped define Paso's modern Rhone era. MAHA covers the wines grown on the Cherrys' own high west-side estate vineyard, farmed organically and biodynamically with dry-farming conviction and grazing animals.
The estate bottlings express a leaner, more mineral register than the region's norm, reflecting the property's elevation and austere soils. Where Villa Creek draws on the west side's famous vineyards, MAHA is the family's home ground in the glass.
