Maison la Belle Vie, French for the house of beautiful life, is a French-style winery, bistro, and event venue in Palisade. Its 4.5-acre vineyard was planted in 2004, and in 2021 Nicholas and Holly, who had fallen for the property on visits from Denver, acquired it and stepped into stewardship.
The winery pairs a full portfolio with a genuine restaurant, the only one among Palisade's wineries, serving lunch and charcuterie on an indoor and outdoor patio. Estate wines include Muscat and Marechal Foch, joined by Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, blends, Rose, a hand-crafted walnut port, and the beloved Vin de Peche, a peach-wine recipe passed down through the founding family since the 1800s. Amy's Courtyard on the property hosts weddings and private events, and on-site lodging lets guests linger.
