Merryvale Vineyards is a Napa Valley winery in St. Helena, founded in 1933. Built in 1933 as Sunnyhill Winery and later Sunny St. Helena, the property was where Cesare Mondavi partnered in 1937, before sons Robert and Peter Mondavi later built their own Napa careers. The 1991 name 'Merryvale' was assembled from letters in founders Harlan, Stocker and Montgomery's surnames, after Bill Harlan's group bought the site in 1983.
The Altezia Vineyard sits roughly 2,625 feet up Mt. Veeder, among the highest-elevation Cabernet Sauvignon plantings in Napa Valley.
Published hours are Daily 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM, walk-ins are welcome, tasting starts at $30. Hours, fees and reservation policies change, so confirm the current details with the winery before you go.
