About Mi Sueño Winery
Mi Sueño Winery was founded in 1997 by Rolando and Lorena Herrera, the same year they married. Rolando immigrated from Mexico at age 15 and rose from dishwasher at Auberge du Soleil to cellar master at Stag's Leap Wine Cellars before making 200 cases of Chardonnay as a 'resume in a bottle' meant to attract investors - it sold out instead and became the winery's first vintage.
The winery is based at 910 Enterprise Way in Napa's southern warehouse district and farms about 40 estate acres spread across Oak Knoll, Coombsville, Los Carneros, Russian River Valley, Sonoma Mountain, and Mt. Veeder. Wines from the estate have been poured at three White House state functions, including a dinner honoring Mexican President Vicente Fox.
