About Mount Veeder Winery

Mount Veeder Winery is a Napa Valley wine producer, established in 1972. Founded in 1973, Mount Veeder Winery pioneered a five-way Bordeaux-blended Cabernet Sauvignon, now poured off-mountain at Arch & Tower in downtown Napa. Michael and Arlene Bernstein planted the estate's first vines in 1965 and released their debut 375-case Cabernet in 1973.

Passed through the Mathesons and Agustin Huneeus before Constellation Brands acquired the winery in 1999. Reportedly the first California producer to blend Cabernet Sauvignon with all four other classic Bordeaux varieties, starting in 1978.
