Rolling Forks Vineyards takes its name from nearby Rolling Forks Township in Pope County, named for its position among the rolling prairies and sculpted hills near the Chippewa River. The winery, established in 2010, sits in Glenwood Township with breathtaking views overlooking Lake Minnewaska, one of western Minnesota's most beautiful lakes. The vineyard operation is substantial for the region: 14 acres of cold-hardy grapes planted using GPS guidance with underground drip irrigation, reflecting a level of precision viticulture uncommon among Minnesota farm wineries.
