About The OBC Wine Project
The OBC Wine Project is an urban winery in Fort Collins, born in 2020 when co-workers at Odell Brewing Company, with thirty years of fermentation experience on the beer side, turned their curiosity to wine. They brought on Travis Green, who had built and run his own vineyard and winery for a decade, as winemaker, and set up to crush, ferment, and bottle right in Fort Collins.
Unbound by geography, OBC sources top fruit from Colorado, Washington, and Oregon and pours bottles, cans, and draft wines at an indoor-outdoor wine bar next door to Odell Brewing, where beer and wine drinkers share a patio. The signature lineup runs to a Rose with Bubbles, Pinot Gris, a Red Blend, and a Guava Spritz, but the standout is the Colorado Red, a blend of Cabernet Franc, Teroldego, and Chambourcin that won Best in Show, the top honor, at the 2024 Colorado Governor's Cup. Live music, food trucks, and charcuterie make it a lively stop.
Hours, tasting fees, and reservation policies change with the season, so it is worth checking the winery's website or calling ahead before you visit, especially on weekends. The details on this profile may have shifted since publication, and the producer is always the most authoritative source.
