About Vintner's Collective
Vintner's Collective pours in the Pfeiffer Building at 1245 Main Street, the oldest stone building in downtown Napa, put up in 1875 and used over the years as a brewery, a laundry and a butcher shop. Garret Murphy and Kim Erasmy opened the tasting room here in 2002.
The format is the draw: rather than one producer's list, the room represents a rotating group of small Napa Valley labels that have no tasting rooms of their own, so a single flight can cross several producers and appellations. There is a bar for walk-in guests and private lounges for seated tastings. The building has taken its knocks, including the 2014 earthquake, after which the team poured from an Airstream trailer while repairs were made.
It is an easy stop on foot in downtown Napa. Confirm current hours, the tasting fee and whether a reservation is needed before you go.
