About Madson Wines
Madson Wines is part of the Ingalls Street cluster on the Santa Cruz westside, where several small producers share a stretch of light-industrial units within a few doors of each other.
The tasting room sits inside the working production cellar rather than in a separate space, so a visit puts you among the tanks and barrels.
The winemaking is low-intervention, drawing on small mountain vineyards farmed organically and regeneratively, and the winery is public about a carbon-neutral commitment. Farming sites that small caps how much wine there is to go round each release.
The room is unusually open about children: all ages are welcome in the space, though wine is only served to those 21 and over.
