About Marciano Estate
Marciano Estate is a boutique, appointment-only Napa Valley winery in St. Helena, founded and led by vintner Maurice Marciano. Rooted in a 19th-century vineyard heritage, the estate specializes in Bordeaux-style wines - Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot - that reflect the microclimate of the St. Helena AVA. Winemaker Bastien Lucas, Bordeaux-trained and formerly of Alpha Omega, joined in 2023.
Visits are offered exclusively by appointment and are highly personalized, typically lasting 60 to 90 minutes with longer private-group experiences available. Tastings are scheduled Sunday through Friday, 10:00am to 3:00pm, and priority is given to active allocation members - the estate's small-lot wines are released twice a year, in spring and fall, primarily to its allocation list.
The estate welcomes adult guests 21 and over; pets are not permitted except service animals. Because production is small and access is curated, prospective visitors should request an appointment in advance through the winery rather than arriving unannounced. Napa Valley collectors value Marciano for its discretion, craftsmanship, and refinement.
Stopped at the border with French vines in his trunk, John Marciano Estate ate the receipts, Napa now calls them the Marciano Estate Clones.
