About Post Parade Wines
Post Parade Wines was founded in 2010 when Brook Smith, whose love of Napa Cabernet grew through Master Sommelier Kevin Vogt and vineyard owners Paul and Suzie Frank, partnered with winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown and Frank Dotzler of Outpost and Mending Wall. Smith, already a partner in several Kentucky bourbon ventures, saw a Napa Cabernet as closing the circle on his luxury beverage investments.
The label takes its name from the post parade, the moment thoroughbred horses step onto the track just before the starting gate, and the wines follow that same mix of preparation and instinct. Sourcing from coveted sites like Panek Vineyard's old Napa riverbed gravel and the volcanic soils of Kenefick Ranch in the Calistoga Palisades foothills, Post Parade focuses on site specific Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, poured daily from 10am to 4pm with reservations required.
