About Pride Mountain Vineyards
Pride Mountain Vineyards is a Spring Mountain winery in Napa-Sonoma Border, founded in 1989. One ranch, two counties, the property's crush pad and vineyards straddle the Napa-Sonoma line so precisely that wines are labeled by the exact percentage of fruit grown on each side. A ghost winery's suspicious past, the stone ruins of the original 1890 Summit Winery still stand on the property, destroyed by a fire during Prohibition that locals have long suspected wasn't accidental.
Retirees who couldn't stop at grape-growing, Jim and Carolyn Pride bought the ranch intending only to sell grapes, but ended up studying UC Davis textbooks and building a full winery instead.
