Founded in 1993 by Larry Turley, the winery has spent over three decades seeking out and farming California's most significant old-vine Zinfandel and Petite Sirah vineyards, blocks planted by earlier generations of California farmers that survived phylloxera and urban development through a combination of luck, isolation, and dedicated stewardship.
The Paso Robles estate is one of Turley's most important vineyard holdings, providing access to old-vine Zinfandel from the western side of the appellation where calcareous soils, elevation, and marine influence create growing conditions that produce wines of extraordinary concentration, complexity, and age-worthiness.
