About Black Cordon Vineyards
Black Cordon Vineyards is a small family producer founded by David and Karen Dunphy, with a first vintage from 2007. Their three-acre hillside vineyard off Dry Creek Rd straddles the Mt Veeder and Oak Knoll District appellations northwest of downtown Napa.
The Dunphys bottle under two labels, Black Cordon Vineyards and Sixteen by Twenty Wines, made from the same vineyards by the same winemaking team. The winery is not open to the public - wines are sold through an online shop and wine club.
