About Brasswood Cellars
Brasswood Cellars is part of a larger St. Helena estate that brings together a winery, extensive wine caves, a tasting room, a restaurant, a bakery and several event spaces. That mix makes the property useful for travelers who want wine and food in one location, but the individual businesses should remain clearly separated. A reservation at Brasswood Bar + Kitchen is not automatically a winery tasting, and a standard tasting does not include every cave or culinary element available elsewhere on the estate.
The entry wine experience is the Signature Tasting, a hosted flight of current-release Brasswood Cellars wines presented in the tasting room or on the outdoor patio. The estate also schedules more involved experiences that may include a cave tour, older wines or seasonal food pairings. Brasswood's caves extend beneath the property and provide a strong sense of the production side of the estate, but guests should book the specific cave experience rather than assume cave access comes with every flight.
The tasting room is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended, although walk-ins can be accommodated when space allows. Standard winery experiences are designed for adults age 21 and older. Parties larger than six should contact the concierge because the estate's dining, tasting and event spaces have different group rules.
Brasswood works especially well as a planned lunch-and-tasting stop. Guests can schedule wine first and dine afterward, or build a longer visit around a cave or food pairing. The Highway 29 location north of St. Helena is convenient, but weekend traffic can add time between appointments. Review each reservation carefully so the selected experience matches the desired balance of wine, caves and food.
