About Tedeschi Family Winery
Tedeschi Family Winery is a small Calistoga producer that emphasizes family-style hospitality and a rustic outdoor setting near its original winery building, vineyard and barrel cellar. The scale is intentionally different from a large destination estate. Guests are more likely to discuss the vine-to-bottle process with people directly involved in the winery than to move through a highly scripted visitor center.
The Estate Tasting includes at least four wines and currently starts at $35 per person. It lasts approximately 60 to 90 minutes, with fees refundable through a qualifying two-bottle purchase. On weekdays, the Vineyard and Crushpad Tour adds a guided walk through the estate Cabernet vineyard, crush pad and barrel room. That 90-minute experience is currently $65, with a separate tour-only option for non-drinkers and a purchase-based fee waiver.
The winery is open seven days a week by appointment, generally from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Same-day requests are welcomed by phone. Current visitor information describes the property as dog-friendly, bike-friendly and family-friendly, and a Tesla charging station is available. Stretch limousines cannot be accommodated. The tour involves standing, outdoor walking and potentially uneven vineyard ground, so guests should choose footwear carefully and disclose seating needs. The estate tasting and walking tour are distinct products. Travelers who want production and vineyard context should reserve the tour rather than assume those elements accompany every flight.
